A suspect has been arrested for the Friday burglary of a Valley Road home.
Willie Earl Clay, 31, of 3005 Seventh St., was arrested Tuesday afternoon, according to Maj. Ward Calhoun of the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department.
Calhoun said calls to CrimeStoppers generated the leads that resulted in Clay's arrest. The sheriff's department reported Saturday it was looking for a white Toyota Corolla and supplied a description of the suspect.
The suspect was seen by the owner of the home when she returned to her home and caught him by surprise.
