DECATUR Orientation sessions have been scheduled at East Central Community College for students planning to attend fall classes.
Sessions will be held Wednesday, July 11 and Saturday, Aug. 4. Registration for each session begins at 8 a.m. in the Vickers Fine Arts Center.

SCOOBA East Mississippi Community College will offer short-term summer classes July 9-Aug. 3.
Classes offered are physical science survey II and lab; anatomy and physiology II; western civilization II; football theory; business calculus; general psychology; introduction to sociology; English composition II; English literature II; human growth and development; world geography; personal/community health; marriage and family; oral communications and developmental algebra.
Calculus II will be offered as a five week term class beginning July 9-Aug. 9.

CAFB East Mississippi Community College's Columbus Air Force Base extension will offer short-term day classes July 5-Aug. 8 in microcomputer office 97; Western civilization II; college algebra; oral communications; introduction to computer concepts; English composition I and II; human growth and development; American history II; trigonometry; marriage and family; American literature II and geometry, measurements and probability.
Short-term night classes will be offered July 9-Aug. 3 in legal environment of business; microcomputer office 97; English literature II; marriage and family; principles of economics (micro); English composition II; American history II and trigonometry.

Local and area teachers can dig deeper into the outdoors at a teacher's workshop July 16 and 17 at Meridian Community College.
Speakers will include Joy Anderson, John Guyton, Felder Rushing, Steve Strong and Gail Barton. Activities and topics will include wall-to-wall hands-on teaching activities, butterfly gardening and nature trails with a twist.

SCOOBA East Mississippi Community College's Scooba and Golden Triangle Campuses will offer an orientation and registration session on Saturday, July 21, at 8 a.m.
All students and their parents are urged to attend. During orientation students will be able to meet their advisors, learn about the campus and register for classes.

DECATUR Students planning to take night classes this fall at East Central Community College can register for the courses Thursday, Aug. 2, at 6 p.m. in the Vickers Fine Arts Center.
