Sheriff's department following leads in burglary

Lauderdale County sheriff's deputies were pursuing leads Saturday in connection with a reported attack on Valley Road.
A woman reported being attacked by a burglar when she returned home Friday afternoon. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The suspect, described as a heavy-set black man about 6-feet tall and weighing 245 pounds, was seen leaving the scene in a white, four-door, older model Toyota Corolla.
