Four injured in one-vehicle crash

The Meridian Police Department is investigating a one-vehicle crash that occurred Tuesday at the intersection of 22nd Avenue and B Street, sending four people to the hospital.
The wreck left two adults with severe injuries according to Lt. Wade Johnson, public information officer for the police department.
Johnson said names of the occupants are not available and would not disclose details of the accident pending the investigation. He said a 19-year-old involved in the wreck was transferred to the University Medical Center in Jackson.
Johnson also said a child less than 2-years-old received minor injuries in the crash.
