Eighty-seven medals awarded at swim meet

The final day of youth swimming in the 10th-annual State Games of Mississippi saw 52 gold, 26 silver, and nine bronze medals awarded during Sunday afternoon's competition.
Betsy Paulk, Boo Huffman, Amy Roberts, and Jordan Jaggers took the gold medal in the girls 8-under 200-meter relay freestyle with a time of 2:50.15.
Michael Gray, Chris Roland, Josh Coleman, and Sami Elbatnigi took the gold medal in the boys 8-under 200-meter freestyle with a time of 2:58.15.
Boo Huffman got the gold medal in the girls 9-10 200-meter freestyle with a time of 3:34.22.
Holly Corbitt took the gold medal in the girls 11-12 200-meter freestyle with a time of 2:42.85. Kayla Sims had a time of 3:10.89 to get the silver medal. Amy Roberts took the bronze with a time of 3:23.
In the girls 13-14 200-meter freestyle, Christie Vaughn got the gold medal with a time of 2:37.08. The silver medal went to Sara Field with a time of 2:51.28.
In the girls 15-16 200-meter freestyle, Kristin Balius took the gold medal with a time of 2:30.09. The silver medal went to Betsy Paulk with a time of 2:38.54.
In the boys 9-10 200-meter freestyle, the gold medal went to Timothy Dasinger.
In the boys 11-12 200-meter freestyle, Jacob Gray got the gold medal with a time of 2:36.43. Elliott Clark got the silver medal with a time of 3:06.35.
Austin Cadden got the gold medal in the boys 15-16 200-meter freestyle with a time of 2:13.02.
In the boys 17-18 200-meter freestyle, the gold medal went to Dan Dasinger with a time of 2:11.34 with the silver going to Michael Gray at 2:13.42.
Catherine Holman took the gold medal in the girls 8-under 100-meter backstroke with a time of 2:24.35.
In the girls 9-10 100-meter backstroke, Boo Huffman got the gold medal with a time of 2:05.88. The silver medal went to Jordan Jaggers at 2:13.49 with Emily Roland taking the bronze at 3:14.27.
Kayla Sims won the gold medal in the girls 11-12 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:48.28. Amy Roberts had a time of 1:51.74 to take the silver.
In the girls 13-14 100-meter backstroke, the gold medal went to Sara Field with a time of 1:29.26. The silver medal went to Lesa Jackson.
In the girls 15-16 100-meter backstroke, the gold medal went to Betsy Paulk with a time of 1:26.17.
Max Holman took the gold medal in the boys 9-10 100-meter backstroke with a time of 2:00.71. Sami Elbatnigi had a time of 2:25.14 to capture the silver medal.
In the boys 11-12 100-meter backstroke, the gold medal went to Jacob Gray with a time of 1:30.09. The silver medal went to Elliott Clark at 1:45.39 with Chris Roland taking the bronze with a time of 2:28.05.
John Dasinger took the gold medal in the boys 13-14 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:11.30. Josh Coleman brought home the silver medal with a time of 1:38.93.
Austin Cadden captured the gold medal in the boys 15-16 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:20.56.
Catherine Holman won the gold medal in the girls 8-under 100-meter breaststroke with a time of 2:45.90.
Jordan Jaggers was the gold medal winner in the girls 9-10 100-meter breaststroke with a time of 2:04.04. Boo Huffman got the silver medal with a time of 2:15.52.
Holly Corbitt was the gold medal winner in the girls 11-12 100-meter breaststroke with a time of 1:35.92. The silver medal went to Amy Roberts (1:49.57) with Kayla Braddock (1:52.40) claiming the bronze.
In the girls 13-14 100-meter breaststroke, Christie Vaughn was the gold medal winner with a time of 1:36.37.
In the girls 15-16 100-meter breaststroke, Kristin Balius was the gold medal winner with a time of 1:31.67.
In the boys 9-10 100-meter breaststroke, the gold medal went to Max Holman with a time of 2:11.38.
In the boys 11-12 100-meter breaststroke, the gold medal went to Elliott Clark with a time of 2:00.27.
In the boys 13-14 100-meter breaststroke, the gold medal went to Josh Coleman with a time of 1:46.79.
Catherine Holman won the gold medal in the girls 8-under 100-meter freestyle with a time of 2:11.71.
In the girls 9-10 100-meter freestyle division, Boo Huffman took the gold medal with a time of 1:39.92. Jordan Jaggers (2:02.06) got the silver medal with Emily Roland (2:55.81) capturing the bronze medal.
In the girls 11-12 100-meter freestyle, Holly Corbitt had a time of 1:16.05 to win the gold medal. Kayla Sims (1:29.83) took the silver with Amy Roberts (1:32.54) getting the bronze.
In the girls 13-14 100-meter freestyle, the gold medal went to Christie Vaughn (1:11.98), while the silver went to Sara Field (1:18.59) and the bronze to Lesa Jackson (1:21.93).
Betsy Paulk won the girls 15-16 100-meter freestyle with a time of 1:15.41.
In the boys 9-10 100-meter freestyle, Timothy Dasinger took the gold medal with a time of 1:15.55. Max Holman (1:44.57) got the silver with Sami Elbatnigi (2:13.16) taking the bronze.
In the boys 11-12 100-meter freestyle, the gold medal went to Jacob Gray with a time of 1:12.54. Elliott Clark (1:26.42) got the silver and Chris Roland (2:01.69) took the bronze.
In the boys 13-14 100-meter freestyle, the gold medal went to John Dasinger with a time of 1:02.75. Josh Coleman (1:22.75) got the silver medal.
Austin Cadden took the gold medal in the 15-16 100-meter freestyle with a time of 59.65.
Michael Gray captured the gold medal in the boys 17-18 100-meter freestyle with a time of 59.30. Dan Dasinger (1:02.37) brought home the silver.
Boo Huffman was the gold medalist in the girls 9-10 100-meter fly with a time of 2:14.48.
Holly Corbitt was the gold medalist in the girls 11-12 100-meter fly with a time of 1:30.69.
Sara Field was the gold medalist in the girls 13-14 100-meter fly with a time of 1:29.78.
Kristin Balius was the gold medalist in the girls 15-16 100-meter fly with a time of 1:19.22. The silver medal went to Betsy Paulk (1:22.68).
Timothy Dasinger won the gold medal in the boys 9-10 100-meter fly with a time of 1:20.87.
Jacob Gray won the gold medal in the boys 11-12 100-meter fly with a time of 1:18.32. Elliot Clark had a time of 1:57.63 to get the silver medal.
John Dasinger got the gold medal in the boys 13-14 100-meter fly with a time of 1:09.82. Josh Coleman had a time of 1:48.67 to get the silver medal.
Austin Cadden won the gold medal in the boys 15-16 100-meter fly with a time of 1:19.02.
Dan Dasinger won the gold medal in the boys 17-18 100-meter fly with a time of 1:03.44. Michael Gray won the silver medal with a time of 1:10.47.
Kayla Sims won the gold medal in the girls 11-12 200-meter intermediate with a time of 3:43.79. Kayla Braddock won the silver with a time of 4:13.50.
In the girls 13-14 200-meter intermediate, the gold medal went to Christie Vaughn (3:13.95) with Lesa Jackson (3:29.18) taking the silver.
Kristin Balius won the gold medal in the girls 15-16 200-meter intermediate with a time of 3:01.09.
In the boys 9-10 200-meter intermediate, the gold medal went to Max Holman with a time of 4:23.05.
In the boys 11-12 200-meter intermediate, the gold medal went to Jacob Gray with a time of 3:04.45.
In the boys 13-14 200-meter intermediate, the gold medal went to Josh Coleman with a time of 3:38.61.
