Rebecca Blakeney of Lawrence and Clifford Williams of Newton announce the engagement of their daughter, Lynne Williams, to Jeffery D. Wilson, son of Douglas Wilson of Newton and the late Cozette Groves Wilson Blair.
The wedding will be held Saturday, June 23, 2001, at 10:30 a.m. at Decedar Baptist Church.
Miss Williams is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mason F. Gordy of Lawrence and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny White of Philadelphia.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Newton High School.
Mr. Wilson is the grandson of Rubie Groves of Lawrence and the late Calvin Groves and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Wilson of Bay Springs.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Newton County High School.
A reception will be at the home of the bride's mother following the ceremony. Friends and family are invited to attend.
