Birth Announcements

Terry and Sabina Ivy of Meridian announce the birth of twins, Cara Elizabeth and Steven Thomas, born April 12, 2001, at the UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Ala.
Paternal grandparents are Thomas and Almedia Ivy of Pine Bluff, Ark.
Maternal grandparents are the late Steve Smith and Sandra Smith of Slidell, La.
Mrs. Ivy is the former Sabina Smith.
COLUMBUS Scott and Stephanie Singley announce the birth of a daughter, Sarah Elizabeth, born April 22, 2001, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.
Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Larry Singley of Meridian.
Maternal grandparents are Steve Neely and Brenda Neely of Meridian.
Mrs. Singley is the former Stephanie Neely.
Jeff and Lesa Newell of Meridian announce the birth of a daughter, Olivia Brooke, on May 10, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Richard and Irene Newell.
Maternal grandparents are Patricia Roach Wilson and Ordell Howard Roach.
Mrs. Newell is the former Lesa Roach.
A son, Glendarious Dale Burks, was born May 10, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center to Sarah Warren and Glen Burks Jr. of Meridian.
Paternal grandparents are John and Cherry Warren of Meridian.
Maternal grandparents are Glen and Bessie Burks of Meridian.
Daniell Lavant, a son, was born May 10, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center to Daniell and LaTaunya Clifton of Meridian.
Paternal grandparent is Besseye Benjamin of St. Croix, Virgin Islands.
Maternal grandparent is Viola Clipton of Pine Hill, Ala.
Chiquita Hopson of Meridian announces the birth of a son, Quintez Da'Vion, on May 10, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
A daughter, Kara Brooke, was born May 10, 2001, at at Rush Foundation Hospital to Tabitha and James Garrison of Meridian.
Mrs. Garrison is the former Tabitha Black.
De and Alexander Davis of Philadelphia announce the birth of a son, Octavius Le'Francis, on May 10, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Mrs. Davis is the former De Carter.
Mark and Tonette Cochran announce the birth of a son, Tanner Joseph, on May 11, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
Mrs. Cochran is the former Tonette Blackwell.
A daughter, Darilyn Genae, was born May 11, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center to Darryl and Dorothy Hall of Livingston, Ala.
Paternal grandparent is Bessie Mae Sims and maternal grandparent is Sophia Williamson, both of Livingston.
Mrs. Hall is the former Dorothy Deloris Brown.
Shane and Kim Robinson of Meridian announce the birth of a daughter, Alyssa Gabrielle, on May 11, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Emmanuel and Beverly Fajardo of Quitman announce the birth of a son, Guillana Socorro Benedicio, on May 12, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Maternal grandparents are Bennett and Guillermina Benedicio.
