Amanda Ruth, a daughter, was born to Dennis and Tracy Patterson of Toomsuba on May 21, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Frank Patterson and Gladys Barefield of LaGrange, Ga.
Maternal grandparents are Howard and Carrie Lowery of Wake Forest, N.C.
Mrs. Patterson is the former Tracy Lowery.
April L. Holmes announces the birth of twin sons, Caleb Matthew and Jachob Colby, born May 22, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
Stacye Schalski and Daniel Slayton Sr. of Meridian announce the birth of a son, Daniel Eric Slayton, Jr., born May 22, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Robert and Nicole Payne announce the birth of a son, Jordan Daniel, born May 22, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
Mrs. Payne is the former Nicole Hill.
A daughter, Macee Brooke, was born to Monica and Monte Knight of Quitman on May 22, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Marie McCarra of Quitman and Glenn Knight of Meridian.
Maternal grandparents are Bill and Sue Wheatley of Union.
Mrs. Knight is the former Monica Wheatley.

Michael and Apryle Benlomanl announce the birth of a son, Maury DaShun, born May 24, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
Mrs. Benlomanl is the former Apryle McDonald.
