DECATUR Numerous computer classes are being offered by the Workforce Development Center at East Central Community College. Class cost $30 for each three-hour session. Class schedules and times include:
June 11 Power Point-Beginner, 9 a.m.-noon; Power Point-Intermediate, 1 p.m.-4 p.m.; Microsoft Word-Advanced, 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
June 12 Internet for Beginner, 1 p.m.-4 p.m.
June 13 Microsoft Publisher-Beginner, 9 a.m.-noon; Excel-Beginner, 1 p.m.-4 p.m.; Microsoft Word-Intermediate, 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
June 14 Power Point-Beginner, 1 p.m.-4 p.m.
June 15 Microsoft Word-Advanced, 9 a.m.-noon; Excel-Beginner, 1 p.m.-4 p.m.; Excel-Intermediate, 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
Rehearsals for the Meridian Community College Band are being held for its annual Patriotic Concert scheduled for Saturday, June 30, at noon in Bonita Lakes Mall.
Rehearsals will be held on Sunday, June 10 and 24 from 2 p.m.-3:30 p.m. in room 180 of Ivy Hall on the MCC campus.

DECATUR Orientation sessions have been scheduled at East Central Community College for students planning to attend fall classes.
Sessions will be held Saturday, June 16, Thursday, June 21, Wednesday, July 11 and Saturday, August 4. Registration for each session begins at 8 a.m. in the Vickers Fine Arts Center.

SCOOBA East Mississippi Community College will offer an Honors Orientation Friday at 8 a.m. All students with an ACT score of 21 or above are invited to attend. Students will meet advisors, learn about the campus and register for classes. For more information call the admissions office at (662) 476-5041.
DECATUR Nominations for honors to be presented during this year's Homecoming observance at East Central Community College are being accepted.
Nominees for Alumnus of the Year, Alumna of the Year, Athletic Hall of Fame, Academic Instructor of the Year and Vocational-Technical Instructor must be submitted by June 15.

SCOOBA East Mississippi Community College's Scooba campus will offer residual ACT tests Thursday, June 21, at 9 a.m. The tests will only be given to students who pre-register. For more information contact the admissions office at (662) 476-5041.
