EXCHANGE CLUB  The Meridian Exchange Club bestowed its highest honor, the Book of Golden Deeds Award, to Betty Lou Jones in a special ceremony Tuesday at Ryan's Steakhouse.
Club member Leonard Cobb made the presentation. Jones has lived in Meridian since 1967, and is best known as the local chairman for Lauderdale County's Relay for Life, which benefits the American Cancer Society.
This year's Relay for Life will be held Friday and Saturday at Meridian High School's Ray Stadium. For more information, call 482-0166.
