FRISKY KITTY A great pet for the entire family would be this 5-week-old male kitty. He will be available for adoption at the City of Meridian's Animal Shelter on Tuesday. The shelter is closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day. The shelter is normally open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is a $10 adoption charge and the pet must be examined by a veterinarian within two days. Pets should also be spayed or neutered. For more information, visit www.meridianms.org or call the shelter at 485-1956.
