Always… Patsy Cline' to open May 3
Meridian Little Theatre will present "Always… Patsy Cline" May 3-6, and 8-9, at the MLT playhouse.
The play is a touching and humorous tribute to a true legend of American song; packed with such hits as "Crazy" and "I Fall to Pieces."

Azusa Street to perform

MayFest set for May 5
St. Patrick School will hold MayFest 2001 May 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the school.
There will be great food, raffles, games, hayrides, a silent auction, cake wheel and live entertainment. The school is located at 2700 Davis Street in Meridian.

Girls Scout camp to open June 10
Gulf Pines Girl Scouts will sponsor a summer resident camp at Camp Merridale on Causeyville Road from June 10-July 13. This camp is open to girls in grades one-12. Girls will attend camp for one-week sessions.
Activities will include horseback riding, pottery, ceramics, arts and crafts, swimming and canoeing. To find out more, call 693-2903 or visit the Girl Scout office at 307 24th Ave. South in Meridian.
Collinsville to host Lively Arts Festival
Collinsville's 13th Annual Lively Arts Festival will be held May 5 beginning at 10 a.m.
Activities include arts and crafts, ballgames, coke toss, various food and game booths and much more. Chicken plates will be available at 11 a.m. Live entertainment is also planned. All activities will be held around the old Collinsville School.

Mormon Tabernacle Choir to perform
The Mormon Tabernacle choir will perform in the concert hall at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex in Birmingham, Ala.
The concert will be held June 20, at 7:30 p.m.
