MCC's Arts &Letters Series' season ends with Choral Finale to Beethoven symphony

As the final presentation for Meridian Community College's Arts &Letters Series Season, the MCC Singers and the Community Chorus will present the Chorale Finale to Beethoven's Ninth Symphony along with the Meridian Symphony Orchestra on May 5, at 8 p.m. in the College's McCain Theater.
The work "Ode to Joy" will be sung in the original German language as is traditionally performed in the presentation of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony.
Guest soloists will include Meridian natives Julian Patrick of Seattle, Wa., baritone, and MCC alumna Maryann Kyle of Johnson City, Tenn., soprano.
Other soloists are Kelly Samarzea of Starkville, mezzo-soprano, and Wesley Edwin Rogers of Seattle., tenor,
Chorus director is Dr. Bob Hermetz and rehearsal pianist is Wayne McInnis.
