If the Lady Eagles of Meridian Community College were looking for some confidence when they hosted Central Alabama on Thursday afternoon, they should have picked up plenty of it.
MCC drubbed Central Alabama the premier junior college fast-pitch softball program in Alabama 11-0 in the first game, before winning the second contest 9-2 to move to 29-9 on the year.
Central Alabama had beaten MCC three times earlier in the year.
She got one.

Adcox allowed only one baserunner in the game, that coming on a one-out walk in the first inning.
The Lady Eagles picked up 12 hits in the game, with Adcox getting a homer, double and single and driving in five runs.
MCC went up 1-0 in the second on Adcox's RBI double, then made it 4-0 in the fourth on her three-run homer.
The Lady Eagles put the game away with seven runs in the bottom of the fifth, with the big blows being a two-run triple by Shanna Blanks and a game-ending bases-loaded homer by Lakenya Wilson.
Adcox moved to 19-2 on the season with the win.
Ryan Reid, now 10-7 on the year, scattered eight hits to pick up the complete game win in the nightcap.
Meridian went up 1-0 in the bottom of the first when Faith Robinson ripped a run-scoring double. Jessica Markell tied the game at 1-1 with a solo homer to lead off the second inning.
The Lady Eagles then scored three runs in the second inning thanks to an RBI single by Stephanie Dixon and a two-run single by Robinson.
Markell ripped another solo homer to open the fourth to cut the MCC lead to 4-2.
Meridian regained its three-run lead in the fifth on a solo homer by Wilson. The Lady Eagles then scored four more runs in the sixth inning, with Adcox's two-run single being the big blow.
Robinson had three hits to lead MCC, while Blanks and Auriel Jenkins had two hits each. Wilson now leads the team with seven homers on the season.
MCC returns to action today when the Lady Eagles visit Shelton (Ala.) State in Tuscaloosa for a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. The Lady Eagles then take on Gordon (Ga.) College in a doubleheader at noon on Saturday.
