Tickets are now on sale for the Friday and Saturday night shows of the annual Jimmie Rodgers Festival, set for May 3-5.
Standing room only tickets are $10 each night with a $1 service fee. They may be purchased at Good Vibrations, Music Emporium, Sound Shop or the Lauderdale County Tourism Bureau.
A limited number of VIP tickets is also available for each night. They may be purchased at the Lauderdale County Tourism Bureau for $20. VIP ticket holders will be guaranteed a table and seats as well as complimentary hors d'oeuvres prior to the show.
South Louisiana's Tab Benoit will be the headline performer on Friday, May 4, in the Temple Theater Ballroom. Tab will perform his own brand of Cajun rock n' blues, as he does night after night for standing room only crowds across the country. Blue Mountain, whose sound is a mixture of North Mississippi country blues and mountain songs with the edge of rock n' roll, will also take the stage on Friday.
Mississippi native and singer/songwriter Greg Crowe will be the lead act on Saturday, May 5. Described as "dirt road country at its best," Greg's latest projects include a self-titled CD and the Tennessee Titan's official anthem. Regional favorite Britt Gully and the Water Moccasins will also perform at Saturday night's show.
