Revival Explosion 2001 begins at First Assembly

TODAY
MARION The passion play "He is Risen" will be presented at 6 p.m. at Marion United Methodist Church. Admission is free.
The church is located at 5601 Clinton.
EDINBURG The outdoor passion play "He's Alive" will be presented at 8 p.m. at Pine Grove Church of God.
The play is a dramatization that begins with Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem and ends with his resurrection.
The church is located on Highway 16 East.
Palm Sunday services will be held at 5 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Palms will be blessed and distributed.
The blessing of the palms in the Labyrinth Garden and a procession to the church for Holy Eucharist will be held at 5 p.m. at Episcopal Church of the Mediator.
In case of rain, the service will be held in the Parish Hall..

SUNDAY

QUITMAN For Such A Time As This, the women's outreach ministry of The Praise and Deliverance Christian Center, will meet at 4 p.m.

YANTLEY, Ala. The Seven Seals Program will be held at 6 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church.
The play "Life of Christ" will be presented at 7 p.m. at Evangel Temple.
Written by the Rev. Mike Boles, the play will feature a 100-member cast. A love offering will be taken.

A Citywide Spring Revival will begin and continue through Friday at the Council of Organizations building.
Services will begin at 7 each night and will feature the following evangelists: Monday, the Rev. Lamorris Richardson, Love City Fellowship; Tuesday and Wednesday, the Rev. Darrell Dumas, Touching Hands Ministries; and Thursday and Friday, the Rev. Morris Jones, Love City Fellowship.

LAUDERDALE Revival will begin and continue through Friday at Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
Services will begin at 7:30 each evening and will feature the Rev. Dr. M.C. Thompson Sr. as guest speaker.
Savannah Grove Missionary Baptist Church's Third Annual Stewardship Revival will begin and continue through Friday.
Services will begin at 7:30 each evening. The Rev. Dr. Alfred Dewayne Hill of Memphis will be guest evangelist. Youth attending Tuesday's services will be recognized and senior citizens will be recognized on Wednesday's evening services.
TUESDAY

WEDNESDAY
Act II of "Eight Days That Changed the World," will be presented at 6:30 p.m. at Briarwood Baptist Church. The four-act musical drama was written by Buddy McElroy, minister of music

DEKALB A three-day youth revival will begin and continue through Friday at Union Baptist Church Kemper Springs.
Services will begin at 7:30 each evening and will feature the following speakers: Wednesday, the Rev. Paul Clayton; Thursday, the Rev. Tommy Terrell; and Friday, the Rev. Andre' Stewart.
THURSDAY
Holy Thursday Service: Washing of the feet and mass will be held at 7 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Maundy Thursday Service: Holy Eucharist, 7 p.m., Episcopal Church of the Mediator. The service also will include footwashing and stripping of the altar.
An all-night vigil before the Reserved Sacrament on the Labyrinth will be held in the Memorial Garden until 7 a.m.
