50th anniversary
MR. AND MRS. DAVEY RAY
Mr. and Mrs. Davey Ray will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception on Saturday, March 31, 2001, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Cathedral Assembly of God in Meridian. The event will be hosted by their children, Donna Holt of Chunky, Ronnie Ray of Boston, Mass., Dave Ray of Kansas City, Mo. and Danita Taylor of Meridian. The couple has 12 grandchildren and four great-grandsons. Mrs. Ray is the former Bobbie Zachary. Family and friends are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.
69th anniversary
OLLIE AND RUBY YARBROUGH
Ollie and Ruby Yarbrough of Meridian recently celebrated their 69th anniversary. They were married March 24, 1932, in Lauderdale County. The Yarbrough's have a daughter, Betty Knight of Meridian; two grandchildren, Robert Knight of Boyle and Elaine Harris of Meridian; a great-grandchild, Earl Hamilton of Grandy, N.C.; and a great-great-grandchild, Alexus Hamilton of Grandy.
