OBITUARIES FOR SUNDAY, MARCH 18, 2001

Services for Billie Jo Eaves will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James Fleming officiating. Burial will be in Rawson Cemetery.
Mrs. Eaves, 71, of Meridian, died Friday, March 16, 2001, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
Survivors include three sons, Earl Poole, Herman Atkinson and Terry Atkinson; a daughter, Virginia Swanner; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 9 a.m.-10 a.m. at the funeral home.
LOUISE SMITH
Graveside services for Louise Smith will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. David Dewease officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Smith, 84, of Bailey, died Saturday, March 17, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy Smith of Bailey; a daughter, Jewell Pearsell of Meridian; six grandchildren, James R. Smith of Bailey, Melinda Leager and James Pearsell, both of Meridian, Frances Smith of Jackson, Alvin Lee Smith of Newton, Tresa Blaine of England; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Barney Lee Smith; and two sons, Alvin Smith and Herman Smith.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. -8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will include Jimmy Jenkins, Frankie Spears, Bobby Smith, Mike Spears, Wayne Bishop and Eddie Spears.
JAMES CHRISTOPHER WILLIAMS

Services for James Christopher "Chris" Williams will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home chapel with his uncle, Pastor William R. Hill, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Williams, 22, of Meridian, died Friday, March 16, 2001. He was previously employed at Chesterfield's and News restaurants and currently worked at Outback Restaurant. He graduated from Meridian High School in 1997. He was a member of Jones Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his parents, Jim and Carol Williams; a brother, Jerry Williams; a sister, Christy Williams; his paternal grandmother, Lucille Elliott; his paternal step-granddad, Harley Elliott; his maternal grandmom, Laura Hill; five uncles, five aunts, and numerous nephews and nieces, cousins and friends; heartfelt love to Nikki Yates, Taylor Duke and Shay Duke.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m. -9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will include Chris Summerford, Sean Summerford, Daniel Meadors, Brandon York, Russell Sloan, Jay Hollis and Kevin McIlwain.
MABLE FINCH SCHAFER

Graveside services for Mable Finch Schafer will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements. Taylor Funeral Service in Delta, Colo., is in charge of final arrangements.
Mrs. Schafer, 101, died Thursday, March 15, 2001, at Horizon's Care Center in Eckert, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Edgar Arthur Schafer Jr.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn McDonald and her husband, Herman, of Cedaredge, Colo.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
NELLIE BREWER BARGER

Graveside services for Nellie Brewer Barger will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Raley officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Barger, 81, of Meridian, died Saturday, March 17, 2001, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, James L. Barger of Meridian; a son, Dennis W. Barger and his wife, Wileen, of McComb; a daughter, Cornelia Bonner and her husband, Lamar, of Mobile, Ala.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Lynn Ferguson and four sisters.

Graveside services for James Thomas Rollins Sr. will be held today at 2 p.m. at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Lowery officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Rollins, 81, of Meridian, died Friday, March 16, 2001, at the VA Hospital in Jackson. He was retired from ICG Railroad and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include three sons, Tom Rollins and Pat Rollins and his wife, Donna, all of Meridian, and Mike Rollins and his wife, Chris, of Brandon; four sisters, Elizabeth Dycaico of California, Carolyn Coker and her husband, Henry, of Hattiesburg, Mary Ann Olson of Biloxi, and Martha Relle Wilkes and her husband, Ollie, of Meridian; a brother, William E. Rollins Jr. of Meridian; four grandchildren, Brande Rollins, Heather Lea, Priscilla Rollins and Ryan Rollins; a great-grandson, Austin Lea; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Grace Rollins.
GLORIA ULYSSES FLEMING MCADAMS

QUITMAN Graveside services for Gloria Ulysses Fleming McAdams will be held today at 4 p.m. at Center Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Buddy Petty officiating. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McAdams, 75, of Mobile, Ala., died Saturday, March 17, 2001, at Sea Breeze Health Care in Mobile. She was a native of Vicksburg and had been a resident of Mobile for the past 24 years. She was a member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Susie Nell McAdams of Ellisville; a son, Dennis Earl McAdams of Carmichael; a sister, Tobie Fleming Day of Mobile; and a brother, Frankie E. Fleming of Quitman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley McAdams; and her parents, Ulis and Nell Fleming.
Visitation will be from noon until services at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Billy Ray Evans, Jack Mercer, Jacob Thomas, Johnny Thomas and Dan Williams.
DURANT WRIGHT CHURCH II

QUITMAN Services for Durant Wright Church II will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Water Valley Pentecostal Church in Lauderdale County with the Rev. John Edwards officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Church, 55, of Quitman, died Friday, March 16, 2001, at Heartfelt Hospice in Meridian. He was a veteran, having retired from the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his mother, Irene Church Sweeney of Quitman; two sons, Keith Church of New Orleans and Paul Church of Quitman; and a brother, Darry Church of River View, Fla.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. -8 p.m. at the funeral home and Monday from 2 p.m. until services at the church.
ANNALINE H. RUSHING
BUTLER, Ala. Services for Annaline H. Rushing will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home chapel with burial in Livingston Memorial Gardens in Livingston.
Mrs. Rushing, a resident of Meridian, died Saturday, March 17, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include a sister, Dorothy H. Allen of Butler, and a sister-in-law, Lois Bragg of Tuscaloosa.
