OBITUARIES FOR TUESDAY, MARCH 13, 2001

Services for Kaitlyn Taylor Heist will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Crow, Barber Stafford and Jason Gross officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery.
Miss Heist, 9, of Needham, Ala., died Sunday, March 11, 2001, in Meridian.
Survivors include her mother, Angela Merritt of Needham and her father, Christopher Heist; maternal grandparents, Yvonne and Billy Joe Ford of Needham; paternal grandmother, Danice Heist of Monroe, Ga.; an uncle, Ray Merritt III of Somerset, Wis.; and two aunts, Jean Clarke and Carol Cochran of Commerce, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Walter Ray Merritt Jr.
Pallbearers will be Larry Mazingo, Michael Blackmon, Jimbo Edwards, Timmy Ford, Marshall Dean Sturdivant and Gary Hines.
Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Therman F. Vick will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at West Kemper Baptist Church with the Revs. Dr. Malcolm Lewis and Tommy Jones officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Kemper County with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Music will be provided by Virginia Darnell, Barbara Vick and Tammy Hartness.
Mr. Vick, 90, of Meridian and Kemper County, died Monday, March 12, 2001, in Kemper County. He was a member of West Kemper Baptist Church in the Moscow Community.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Vick and two daughters, Earline Vick Wall and Chyrel Vick Lancaster, all of Meridian; four sons, Mose "Bub" Vick and his wife, Dorothy, and Elwood Vick and his wife, Bobbie, all of Meridian, Dewitt Vick and his wife, Barbara, and Charles Vick and his wife, Wanda, all of DeKalb; a sister, Maudie Frazier and her husband, Kenneth, of Bailey; three brothers, Earl Vick and his wife, Pauline, of Kentwood, La., Irvin Vick and his wife, Ida, of Meridian, and Oscar Vick and his wife, Doris, of DeKalb; grandchildren, Jim Wall, Lynn Wall Bernstein, Donna Wall Morris, Bruce Mitchell, Greg Mitchell, Denise Vick McKinnion, Debbie Vick VanDevender, Tammy Vick Hartness, Tony Vick, Devlyn Vick, Sheila Vick West, Dana Vick, Todd Vick, Lori Ingram Parker, David Lancaster, Donald Lancaster, Douglas Lancaster and John Lancaster; step-children, Edwina Cooper and her husband, Bobby, Faye Gray and her husband, Fred, and Carolyn McAllister and her husband, Roy; 27 great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irvine Massey Vick; a daughter, Sadie Vick Mitchell; a son, Joe Lane Vick; six sisters, Helen Beddingfield, Stella Massey, Carrie Mae Frazier, Mary Ella McCall, Bertie Bounds and Ola Kate Temple; four brothers, Curtis Vick, Will Vick, Lester Vick and Jack Vick.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home and 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.

YORK, Ala. Graveside services for Frances C. Heimburger will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Carrollton City Cemetery. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Heimburger, 86, of York, died Sunday, March 11, 2001, at Sumter Health and Rehab.
ALICE CLEMMONS HICKMAN
SEBASTOPOL Services for Alice Clemmons Hickman will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church with the Rev. Doby Henry officiating. Burial will be in Hickman Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Hickman, 79, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, March 11, 2001, in Philadelphia.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Hickman Frazier of Preston, Shirley Tiger of Noxapater and Inez Hickman of Preston; two sons, Jimmy Hickman and Eddie Hickman of Philadelphia; two sisters, Mary Bell and Josephine Tubby of Philadelphia; a brother, Tom Clemmons of Philadelphia; 28 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is being held at Shirley Hickman's Home after 5 p.m. each day until the service.
