PHILADELPHIA Services for Jerry McGrew Sharpe will be held today at 3 p.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Hill officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Sharpe, 58, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, March 10, 2001, at his family home.
Survivors include his wife, June Sharpe of Philadelphia; a daughter, Stacey Lynn Thomas and her husband, Michael, also of Philadelphia; and a grandson.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Shannon Sharpe in 1986.
GEORGE M. ETHRIDGE
Retired Meridian firefighter
Services for George M. Ethridge will be held today at 3 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home chapel with Pearly Ethridge officiating. Burial will be in Stonewall Cemetery.
Mr. Ethridge, 57, of Meridian, died Friday, March 9, 2001, at his residence. He was a retired firefighter for the City of Meridian and was a member of Abundant Life Tabernacle.
Survivors include his wife, Pearly Ethridge of Meridian; a son, Daniel Ethridge of Meridian; four sisters, Jean Vinson of Chattahouchee, Fla., Joanne Collins of Union, Joyce Kellam of York, Ala., and Betty Katsaboulas of Brandon; two brothers, Danny Ethridge of Union and Jimmy Ethridge of Bailey; three stepsons, Tom Stewart, Bill Stewart and Joey Stewart; four stepdaughters, Judy Williams, Shirley Green, Sheila Bennett and Sharon Fleming; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mark D. Ethridge; his mother, Bonnie Ree Ethridge; a brother, Mark Duthiel Ethridge; a wife, Judy McKissack Ethridge; and a son, George Keith Ethridge.
Pallbearers include James Ethridge, Chris Collins, Jason Bass, Merl Collins, Bill Stewart, Joe Stewart, Mike Williams and Danny Bennett.
INFANT JACOB MITCHELL JONES
Graveside services for Jacob Mitchell Jones, the infant son of William and Lisa Jones of Florence, were held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Jones Family Cemetery with the Rev. Lin Chesney officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The 3-month-old baby died Thursday, March 8, 2001, at his home.
In addition to his parents, Jacob is survived by his grandparents, Jody and Shirley Ann Talbert and Tarrilee and Patricia Terrell; his great-grandparents, Ann Reid, William Henry and Mary Jo Jones, Roger Lee Watson and Sherry Watson and Sadie Mae Logan; two brothers, William Anthony Jones Jr. and Trey Allen Jones; his great-great-grandparents, Leon Richardson and Bill Terrell; and several aunts, including his Aunt Ganay Sharpe and several uncles, including Uncle Nathan "Mimbo" Sharpe.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Michael Jones and Michael Talbert.

UNION Services for Ruth Gladys Vance will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Church of God at Lucern with the Revs. Jerry Bennett, James Pace and Kenneth Thornton officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Vance, 93, of Union, died Friday, March 9, 2001, at Laird Hospital. She was the youngest child of the Rev. W.L. Milling. She was a faithful member of the Church of God at Lucern, where she served as church treasurer and supported and directed many children's activities.
Survivors include three daughters, Virginia Day Wallace and her husband, Bennie, of Pearl, Ruby Fay Bell and her husband, John E., of Clinton, and Gladys Burnette V. Williams and her husband, Othel, of Raymond; six grandchildren, Donna Stauter of Hattiesburg, David Wallace of Rocky Mountain, N.C., Damon Bell of Charlette, N.C., Geoffery Bell of Waukesha, Wisc., Gavin Williams of Union and Shane Williams of Decatur; three great-grandchildren, William Bell, Alexandra Stauter, Cade Stauter and another great-grandchild expected in late April.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris B. Vance.
Visitation will be today from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be David Wallace, Damon Bell, Geoffery Bell, Gavin Williams, Shane Williams and Tommy Stauter. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews, Martis Milling, Benard Milling, Jimmy Milling and Steve Milling.

Retired teacher
Services for Helen M. Harbour will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home chapel with Elder Jerry Wilkerson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Miss Harbour, 90, of York, Ala., died Friday, March 9, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was a native of Neshoba County and a former resident of Lauderdale County. She was a graduate of both the University of Alabama and the University of Southern Mississippi. She taught school in Neshoba, Kemper, Noxubee and Lauderdale counties before retiring. She was a member of Harmony Primitive Baptist Church in Neshoba County.
Survivors include two sisters, Lucille Bane of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Sue Nell Bates of Philadelphia; a sister-in-law, Terry Harbour of Jackson; a niece, Charlene Trexler of Cordova, Tenn.; and several other nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Henry Harbour and Hattie Speed Harbour.
Visitation will be today from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for John "Bobby" Rogers will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church in Collinsville with the Rev. Chester Davis officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Rogers, 64, of Meridian, died Friday, March 9, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Gracie Rogers of Meridian; two daughters, Deborah Moore and Argie Edwards, both of Meridian; seven sons, Johnny Ray Rogers of Austin, Texas, David Lamar Rogers of Dallas, Timothy Rogers of San Francisco, and Bobby Riddle Rogers, Ernest Rogers, Chan Rogers and Robert Rogers, all of Meridian; four sisters, Virgie Pace and Bettye Davis, both of Meridian, Minnie Davis of Little Rock and Bonnie Sims of Walnut Grove; a brother, L.C. Rogers of San Francisco; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

SEBASTOPOL Services for Molly Jolly will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Jolly officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery in Madden.
Mrs. Jolly, 63, of Lena, died Saturday, March 10, 2001, at the Baptist Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Horatha "Ham" Jolly of Kosciusko; four daughters, Janet Ashley of Brandon, Sheral Goode of Florence, Rebecca Jolly of Braxton and Peggy Counts of Kosciusko; five sons, Robert Jolly and Benjamin Jolly, both of Kosciusko, Jackie Jolly of Brandon, Ricky Jolly of Morton, and Danny Jolly of Pelahatchie; a sister, Christine Bryan of Carthage; a brother, James Withers of Carthage; 26 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
