    OBITUARIES FOR MODAY, FEB. 26, 2001

    Services for Lena B. Nester were held Saturday at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Roy Dabbs and Edsol Wells officiating. Burial was in Stinson Cemetery.
    Mrs. Nester, 81, of Meridian, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, in her home. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and the "Ruth" Sunday School class. She lovingly cared for children in the nursery at Mt. Olive for 25 years.
    Survivors include two daughters, Daisy M. Mabry and her husband, Joe, of Meridian and Francis Irene Mabry of Meehan; two sons, Ronald D. Nester and his wife, Dianne, and John W. Allbrook and his wife, Judy, all of Meridian; a sister, Tempie Smith of Humble, Texas; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her father, Earnest Smith; her mother, Lela R. Smith; two husbands, John Allbrook Sr. and Thomas Dale Nester; two brothers and two sisters.
    Pallbearers were Larry Taylor, Howard Herrington, Eddie Broadway Sr., David Pickard, Rayford Nester, Wesley Robinson, Herman Acock and Prentiss Mabry.
    ALBERT DUNCAN

    PHILADELPHIA Services for Albert Duncan were to be held today at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with the Rev. David Hamm officiating. Burial was to be in Tucker Cemetery with McClain-Hays Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Duncan, 41, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001, in his home. He was born in San Diego, Calif. and was a resident of the Tucker Community of Neshoba County most of his life. He worked in offshore oil exploration for many years. Mr. Duncan was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the National Rifle Association.
    Survivors include his mother, Tina Duncan of Philadelphia; a sister, Therese Duncan of Little Rock; three brothers, Bill Duncan and his wife, Cookie, Joe Duncan and his wife, Lisa, and David Duncan, all of Philadelphia; five nieces, Nicole, Mary Kate, Ashlea, Brittany and Denise; two nephews, Jimmie Joe and Colt; a very special friend, Susan Harris of Philadelphia; a Goddaughter, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his father, William L. "Billy" Duncan in 1978.
    The family requests memorials be made to Hope House, 1053 N. Congress Street, Jackson, MS 39202, (601) 352-6361; The American Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
    Pallbearers will be Ricky Springer, David Timmons, Johnny Warren, Fidelis Skipper, Billy Joe Pierce and Ken White.
    LENA MAE PACHO

    Services for Lena Mae Pacho will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
    Mrs. Pacho, 83, of Meridian, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at Guardian Angel Hospice. She was a member of the Methodist faith.
    Survivors include three children, John David Stanford of Loxahatchiee, Fla., James J. Stanford of Meridian and Peggy Moss and her husband, Richard, of Phoenix, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
    Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    WILLIAM ARTHUR FREEMAN
    Security guard
    Services for William Arthur Freeman will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Dennis Shaw and Frank Herrington officiating. Burial will be in Blue Springs Cemetery.
    Mr. Freeman, 59, of Meridian, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was retired from the Meridian Police Department with 20 years of service and was employed as a security guard for the past 18 years at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center at the time of his death. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church and the Meridian Moose Lodge.
    Survivors include a son, William Brian Freeman of Meridian; two daughters, Kim James of Butler, Ala. and Jackie Clearman of Savoy; four grandchildren, Jamie Clearman, Lance Clearman, Jeremy James and Olivia James; three brothers, Lavern Freeman of Meridian, Huey Freeman of Savoy and Ray Freeman of Chunky; two sisters, Oneda Blackwell and Hazel Mabry, both of Meridian, Delois Burnett of Union; several nieces and nephews.
    Pallbearers will be Bobby House, Doug McKee, Travis McKee, Arlen Mabry, Wayne Freeman and Ronnie Freeman.
    Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Meridian Police Department and security guards at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Visitation will be today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
