OBITUARIES FOR SUNDAY, FEB. 18, 2001

ROBBIE P. ESTES
Retired from Sears Roebuck
Graveside services for Robbie P. Estes will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. A.C. Crenshaw officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Estes, 90, of Meridian, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2001, at Riley Hospital. She was a member of State Boulevard Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Estes and his wife, Dixie, of Meridian; a brother, J.G. Pittman and his wife, Bessie, of Decatur; a sister, Ardele Chaney of Little Rock; and a special niece, Elizabeth Hutchinson of Alvin.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
LOTTIE IRBY WEATHERFORD

Graveside services for Lottie Irby Weatherford will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Cokers Chapel Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Weatherford, 85, of Meridian, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at Riley Hospital. She had worked for many years for Dr. Gus Rush before she retired. Prior to that, she was director of nursing at Matty Hersee Hospital. She was a member of Lauderdale Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, John D. Weatherford, and his wife, Mary, of Meridian; a granddaughter, Amanda Weatherford; a grandson, Josha Weatherford; and special friends, John and Ollie Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Kermit Weatherford, and a sister, Jewel Hughes.
JAMES M. MAYFIELD
Retired serviceman for Southern Pine Electric
NEWTON Services for James M. Mayfield will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. John Harold Bethune officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Taylorsville.
Mr. Mayfield, 84, of Newton, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2001, at Guardian Angel Hospice in Meridian. He was a retired serviceman for Southern Pine Electric and a native of Smith County. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Newton Lion Club for more than 30 years. He was also a Mason in the Masonic Lodge No. 57, Newton Chapter, and was a Hamasa Shriner.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Elizabeth Lehman of Arrington, Va., Sue Mitchell of Collinsville, and Jimmie Carol Pete of Hickory; two sons, Joel Mayfield of Bossier City, La., and John Mayfield of Meridian; nine grandchildren, 13-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome Calhoun and Mary Viola Stuart Mayfield; and three brothers, Harvey, Denver and J.L. Mayfield.
Visitation will be today from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be members of Masonic Lodge No. 57.
