Mrs. Powell is the former Abbrevian Naylor.
Logan Kirk, a son, was born to Allena and Matthew Barnett of Union on Jan. 25, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Mrs. Barnett is the former Allena Buntyn.
Lee and Tina Beech of Quitman announce the birth of a son, Hunter Trey, on Jan. 25, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Ronnie and Kay Beech of Meridian.
Maternal grandparents are Chuck and Freda McClure of Quitman.
Mrs. Beech is the former Tina McClure.
Linda and Jim Gentry of Newton announce the birth of a son, Mitcham Harris, on Jan. 25, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. James O. Gentry of Meridian.
Maternal grandparents are Louise Harris of Lawrence and the late Tom Harris.

Mrs. Sharp is the former Maria Genay Rowell.

Mrs. Walker is the former Georgia Hickmon.
A daughter, Destiny Savon, was born to Takeshia Wallace of Cuba, Ala., on Jan. 27, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Angel Beyonce', a daughter, was born to Lora Fluker of York, Ala., on Jan. 28, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
A son, Wilmond Leshun, was born to Johnnika Irby of Meridian on Jan. 28, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Vanessa Mallory Whitehead, a daughter, was born to Virginia Haney and Eric Whitehead, both of Meridian, on Jan. 28, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
A daughter, Keewan Na'Tencie Enpatray, was born to Walkisa Burnside of Philadelphia on Jan. 28, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Marvelette Ken'Yetta Vorshae Davis, a daughter, was born to Marilyn Wallace and Dewarren Davis, both of Quitman, on Jan. 29, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
A daughter, Saylor Rose, was born to Tiffany and Ty Hinson of Meridian on Jan. 30, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Mrs. Hinson is the former Tiffany House.
Jyilyn Shenairra Hampton, a daughter, was born to Priscilla Pack and Chantay Hampton on Jan. 30, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
Aaron Christopher, a son, was born to Cindy and Chris Brannan of Meridian on Jan. 31, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Mrs. Brannan is the former Cindy Lyles.
Richard Ledarius Jr., a son, was born to Janice and Richard Hull Sr. of Cuba, Ala., on Jan. 31, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Mrs. Hull is the former Janice Williams.
A daughter, Johnketta Shanta Williams, was born to Melanie Adams of Lisman, Ala., on Jan. 31, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
