OBITUARIES FOR SUNDAY, FEB. 4, 2001

ANNIE RUTH EVANS CARLISLE
GILBERTOWN, Ala. Services for Annie Ruth Evans Carlisle will be held today at 11 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Bernice Moore and Jason Harvell officiating. Burial will be in Mosley Cemetery.
Mrs. Carlisle, 84, of Gilbertown, died Saturday, Feb. 3, in Meridian.
Survivors include five daughters, Martha Mosley, Lois Cox, Sadie Carlisle, Glo Skinner, Glendean Mazingo, all of Gilbertown; two brothers, J.B. Evans of Gilbertown and Gerald Evans of Junction City, Ore.; two sisters, Irene Mazingo of Quitman, Miss. and Myrtle Abston of Butler; 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Carlisle and a son, Thomas A. Carlisle.
The family requests memorials be made to the Shriners Burn Center.
DELLA BEE TATE

Services for Della Bee Tate will be held today at 11 a.m. at Bethany Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Balint officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Tate, 73, of Meridian, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Tate Gallacher and her husband, Dr. Douglas Gallacher of Freemont, Calif.; two granddaughters, Kelly Gallacher and Caitlin Gallacher; two sisters, Delores Reynolds and her husband, James, of Whynot, and Rebecca Hankins and her husband, Louis, of Livingston, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Tate.
The family requests memorials be made to the Bethany Cemetery Fund or the American Heart Association.
Pallbearers include Randy Farris, Garland Partridge, Kelva McRae, William McRae, Robert Allen Reynolds and Frankie Polizzi. Honorary pallbearers include Bennie Ford, Johnnie Mac Booker and Gary Newell.
WALTER EARL DAVIDSON

Services for Walter Earl Davidson will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Tommy Jones, Jerry Lowery and Jerry Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Davidson, 70, of Meridian, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise Stewart Davidson of Meridian; two sons, Gary Davidson and his wife, Toni, and Dennis Davidson, all of Meridian; a daughter, Marilyn Smith and her husband, Jimmy, of Meridian; two sisters, Opal Bush of Meridian and Walterene Cook of Picayune; five brothers, Cecil Davidson of Quitman, Bobby Davidson, Sammy Davidson, Glen Davidson and Ferrell Davidson, all of Meridian; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Maude Davidson and a brother, Billy Davidson.
Pallbearers will be Marcell Goodman, Dale Holyfield, Paul Barkley, Philip Maples, Steve Parker and Cliff Gardner.
Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
LUDIE MAE LEDLOW EASOM

NEWTON Services for Ludie Mae Ledlow Easom will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Barham Chapel with the Rev. Curtis Price officiating. Burial will be in Newton County Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Easom, 95, of Conehatta, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001, in Union. She was a member of Poplar Baptist Church in Newton County.
Survivors include a daughter, Earline E. Stevens and her husband, Conrad E., of Brandon, a son, Wilburt L. Easom and his wife, Jean M. Easom of Meridian; a brother, Carl Ledlow of Decatur; two nieces, Emma Lee May of Newton and Jonnie L. Bufkin and her husband, Billy, of Decatur; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos L. Easom; a son, James H. Easom; and a sister, Mrs. Wydell Warren.
Pallbearers will be Clemon Easom, Tracy Easom, Mike Tvarkunas, David McCary, Tom Edwards and Elton Wall.
Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
