MCC women claim 1st conference win

EUNICE, La. The Meridian Community College women picked up their first conference win of the season as they downed LSU-Eunice 72-63 Thursday night.
The Lady Eagles, now 16-4 on the season, trailed 35-29 at the half.
Catesha Riley led MCC with 23 points, while Angela Bullock added 21 and Erika Starks scored 17.
MCC visits Southern-Shreveport Saturday. The women play at 2 p.m. while the men's game starts at 4 p.m.
