VELMA WILLIAMS HAGAN

Services for Velma Williams Hagan will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Big Oak United Methodist Church with the Revs. David Keller and Claude Fleming Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hagan, 94, of Damascus, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, at the Specialty Hospital of Meridian. She was a longtime member of Big Oak United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Dwight Hagan and his wife, Juanita, of Orlando, Fla. and Wendell Hagan and his wife, Bobbie, of DeKalb; two daughters, Janice Fleming and her husband, Claude, of Philadelphia and Lawanda Vick and her husband, Charles, of DeKalb; two sisters, Annie Mae Williams of Philadelphia and Magadine Vaughan of Decatur; a brother, David Williams of Philadelphia; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Henry Hagan and a grandson, Keith Hagan.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Hagan, Todd Vick, Claude Fleming Jr., Nathan Hagan, Tyler Hagan, Dustin Stevens, Lee Fleming, Mark Fleming, Scott Beddingfield, James Ramsey and Willie Hagan.
Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. and 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home.
MARY I. BELL

Services for Mary I. Bell will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with the Rev. Elvin Sunds officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bell, 80, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, at Guardian Angel Hospice. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Teresa Walters and her husband, Thomas Nevil, of Meridian; two sons, Michael Wade Bell and his wife, Susan, of Newman, Ga. and John Patrick Bell and his wife, Tamara, of Indianapolis; a grandson, Robert John Bell; five granddaughters, Lisa Bell Massa, Ashley Kay Bell, Stephanie S. Bell, Mariana Bell and Courtney T. Bell; two great-granddaughters, Malory Massa and Morgan Massa.
The family requests memorials be made to American Lung Association or St. Patrick's Church, See the Life Fund. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
CORA NICHOLS

Services for Cora Nichols will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mt Zion Baptist Church in Enterprise with the Rev. Charles Johnson officiating. Burial will in East Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Nichols, of Enterprise, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, in Los Angeles.
Survivors include five daughters, Geraldine McWilliams of Los Angeles, Corene Nichols of Meridian, Mary Nichols of Chicago, Louise Nichols of Long Beach, Calif. and Minnie Johnson of Chicago; two sons, Eugene Nichols of Chicago and Joe Nichols of Enterprise.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Nichols.
DOROTHY JANE NEILL

HERMITAGE, Mo. Memorial services for Dorothy Jane Neill will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Pomme de Terre United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jo Hastings officiating. Hathaway Peterman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Neill, 73, of Hermitage, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, in her home. She was born in Meridian, Miss.
Survivors include her husband, B. Vince Neill; three sons, Randi Neill and Coby Neill of Calabasas, Calif. and Jonathan Neill of Springfield, Mo.; and five grandchildren.
