    OBITUARIES FOR WEDNESDAY, JAN. 3, 2001

    LISA DUNN
    Services for Lisa Dunn were to be held today at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Null officiating. Burial was to be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
    Mrs. Dunn, 35, of Marion, died Monday, Jan. 1, 2001, at Benchmark Health Care. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church of Meridian.
    Survivors include a daughter, Brittany Dunn, her mother, Bonnie Tucker and her stepfather, Tom Tucker, a brother, Adrian Coleman and his wife, Shannon, and a stepbrother, Tracy Tucker and his wife, Vickie, all of Meridian; a sister, Stacy Walls and her husband, J.T., of Myrick; her grandfather, Allen Patterson and his wife, Frances, of Louisville; and her grandmother, Lucille Tucker of Marion.
    NETTIE TUBBY
    SEBASTOPOL Services for Nettie Tubby were to be held today at 10 a.m. at Pearl River Baptist Church with the Rev. Arthur Ben officiating. Burial was to be in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Tubby, 80, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Survivors include her husband, Claude Tubby, five daughters, Maxine Dixon, Irma Boulley, Wanda McMillan, Janis D. Robinson and Joyce L. King, two sons, Mack Jimmie Jr. and Adolph Jimmie, all of Philadelphia; a sister, Grace Willis, and a brother, R.B. Sam, both of Carthage; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
    MALCOLM E. HOPPER JR.
    Graveside services for Malcolm E. Hopper Jr. will be held today at 2 p.m. at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Scooba with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Hopper, 76, of Salisbury, N.C., died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000, at Brian Center Nursing Home.
    Survivors include a brother, Grady D. Hopper and his wife, Jimmie, of Scooba; two nieces, Sheila Aust of Scooba and Denise White of Owings, Md.; three nephews, Dennis Harney of Fairfax, Va., Donald Dawson and Jimmy Dawson, both of Falls Church, Va.; and several great-nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm and Mammie Hopper; and two sisters, Joyce Dawson and Jean Harney.
    Pallbearers will be Ken Aust, Clint Aust, Otis Martin, Allen Gene Watt and Norman Gibson.
    WILLIAM WILKERSON

    BUTLER, Ala. Graveside services for William Wilkerson will be held today at 2 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery in Vineland with the Rev. Ken Gibson officiating. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Wilkerson, 71, of Pennington, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2000, in his home.
    Survivors include a sister, Madeline Griffies of Pennington; two stepdaughters, Ann Rowell of Butler and Debra Kelley of Calhoun, La.; three stepgrandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
    NORMA LEE PIERCE WINSTEAD

    PHILADELPHIA Services for Norma Lee Pierce Winstead will be held today at 3 p.m. at County Line Baptist Church with the Revs. Stanley Barnett and Barron Pilgrim officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Neshoba County with McClain-Hays Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Winstead, 83, of Meridian, died Monday Jan. 1, 2001 at King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home
    Survivors include three daughters, Mary Earl Laird of Little Rock, Barbara Fay Fisher of Union and Doris Mae Castleberry of Meridian; a son, Zack Norris Winstead of DeKalb; three sisters, Mildred Savell and Winnie Savell, both of Union, and Nadine Weatherford of Crestview, Fla.; a brother, Eric Pierce of Union; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Hagan Winstead.
    JENETTA GOODIN VAN DEVENDER

    Services for Jenetta Goodin Van Devender will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. T.D. Traylor and Clay Chancelor officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
    Mrs. Van Devender, 95, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001, in Meridian. She was a former resident of Winston County and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
    Survivors include two daughters, Shelby Jean Pace and her husband, William E., of Meridian, and Dorothy Fox and her husband, S.W., of Noxapater; a brother, Lossie Goodin of Louisville; three grandchildren, Jerry Wayne Pace of Meridian, Linda Jean Gibson and her husband, Dr. Gary L. Gibson II, of Flowood, and Sharon Lynn Dooley and her husband, Rusty, of Louisville.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Van Devender.
    Pallbearers will be Jack White, J.L. White, George Higginbotham, Garland Cheatham, Dewey Van Devender and Cecil Goodin.
    Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    EULA JANE GRIFFITH

    Graveside services for Eula Jane Griffith will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Kent Grice officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Griffith, 93, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001, in Meridian.
    Survivors include a son, James R. Griffith and his wife, Maxine, of Meridian; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell George Griffith.
    Visitation will be Thursday from 9-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
    LOUISE GAMBLIN
    Retired from Neshoba County Welfare Department
    PHILADELPHIA Services for Louise Gamblin will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Dr. James Shull officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery.
    Mrs. Gamblin, 80, of Philadelphia, died Monday, Jan. 1, 2001, in Nashville, Tenn.
    Survivors include a son, Marty Gamblin of Nashville; and two grandsons.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Gamblin.
    Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    RUBIE MAE LEWIS
    Retired from Riley Hospital
    DEKALB Services for Rubie Mae Lewis will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church of Collinsville with the Rev. John Griggs officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Collinsville with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Lewis, 85, of Collinsville, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2000, at Riley Hospital.
    Survivors include a son, Beather Evon Lewis and his wife, Nannie, of Denver; a daughter, Ruby Janell Moore of Collinsville; a brother, Rufus Wooten and his wife, Gladys, of Bailey; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her husband and a son.
    Visitation will be Thursday from 6-7 p.m. at the church.
