FAMBROUGH, GRAVES
Anna Sheree Graves and Reinhard Eugene "Gene" Fambrough were married Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Birmingham, Ala., with the Rev. John Fallon officiating.
Parents of the bride are Anne Marie Agerton of Leeds, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Edward Graves of Hoover, Ala. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. John Warren Fambrough III of Atlanta.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Maid of honor was Mia Graves of Tuscaloosa, Ala., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amanda Allen of Butler, Ala.; Rachel Graves of Washington, D.C., and Kellie Pulliam of Winder, Ga. Junior bridesmaid was Kameron Agerton of Meridian.
Flower girl was Shelby Agerton of Leeds, Ala.
Best man was Warren Fambrough of Birmingham, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were John Cypert of Athens, Ga., Eric Hollenbeck of Birmingham, Jon Humphries of Dacula, Ga., and Darrell Sorah of Winder, Ga.
A reception was held following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon on the island of St. Thomas, the couple resides in Birmingham.
LONGWITZ, EDWARDS
Tobi Lynn Edwards of Midwest City, Okla., and William Franklin Longwitz of Quitman were married Saturday, July 29, 2000, at Metropolitan Memorial United Methodist Church in Washington, D.C., with the Rev. Catherine Wells Monroe officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Rick Merritt of Lighthouse Point, Fla., Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Edwards of Midwest City and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Longwitz of Quitman.
Grandparents of the bride are William Westerheide of Oklahoma City and Lois Merritt of Buffalo, N.Y.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Hazel Bruister of Butler, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Roberts of Quitman.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Suzanne Aylor, pianist; Bruce Caviness, organist; and Robert Harris, acoustical guitarist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a gown with cap sleeves, full skirt and chapel-length train set off by seed pearl clusters. Silk satin ribbon strips edging the oval insets created a stained glass effect on the A-line gown.
Maid of honor was Nicole Scott of Washington, D.C. Other attendants were Heather Mirjahangir of Los Angeles, Victoria Borrego and Sarah Ballew, both of Midwest City.
Kelsey Merritt of Albany, N.Y. and Elizabeth Merritt of Amherst, Mass., were flower girls.
Wes Longwitz of Quitman served his brother as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Gurbir Grewall of Parkridge, N.J., Brian Mullally of Muskegon, Mich., Dan Domenico of Boulder, Colo.
Program attendants were Adam and Ross Roberts of Quitman and Davis Roberts of Jackson.
A dinner dance was held at Georgetown University Conference Center following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon in Portugal, the couple resides in Oxford.
PATRICK, MAY
Tracie Melissa May of Meridian and John Kristopher Patrick of Pelahatchie were married Saturday, Aug. 26, 2000, at Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church, with the Rev. James A. Ruffin officiating.
Parents of the couple are Evelyn May of Meridian, Charles May of Forest, and Mr. and Mrs. John W. Patrick of Pelahatchie.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. A.P. May of Brandon, the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis G. Huff of Pelahatchie, and Alma Harvey of Brandon.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Doris Floyd of Brandon, and the late Douglas B. Floyd Jr.; Katie Patrick of Pelahatchie and the late Wayne Patrick.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Harry Tillery, pianist and vocalist; Joyce Tillery, organist; and Michelle Wigginton, vocalist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a sleeveless formal-length gown of white matte satin embroidered with beads, seed pearls and Battenburg lace on the bodice and around the chapel-length train. Seed pearls and crystals completed her fingertip-length veil made of double tiers of illusion.
Susan May Gipson of Dallas attended her sister as matron of honor. Heather-Reagan Irwin of Clinton served as maid of honor.
Other attendants were Misbah Badat, Andrea Leigh Delaney, Rebecca Lee Wall and Amy Boles Williams, all of Meridian, and Melissa Doris Patrick of Pelahatchie.
Katherine Rebecca Boling of Woodbridge, Va., was flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Gene Allen Arender of Baton Rouge, Eric Brandon Graham and Timothy Ashton Haigler, both of Birmingham, Matthew Joseph Martin of Houston, Douglas Vick Robbins of Keller, Texas, and Thomas Eugene Walker of Olive Branch.
A reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Laura Arender, Jennifer Heggie, Kristen James, Lauren Nicholson and Crissie Walker.
Brittany Lawrence of Brandon, Jennifer Sanders of Meridian and Jennifer Sharpe of Brookhaven served as program and registry attendants. Lauren Anderson of Brandon was rice girl.
After a honeymoon in Cancun, the couple resides in Clinton.
HINTON, CLAYTON
Romona Dian Clayton of Lauderdale and Gunnery Sgt. Ricky Leon Hinton of Rock Hill, S.C., were married Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000, at Abundant Life Tabernacle, with the Rev. A.M. Mansfield officiating.
Parents of the couple are Henry and Clarisee Clayton of Lauderdale and Robert Lee and Mildred Hinton of Rock Hill.
Grandparents of the bride are Dezzree Clayton of St. Louis, Mo., and the late Dove Clayton; Ruben Handley of Birmingham, Ala., and the late Willie Mae Bramlett.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Robert and Mattie B. Hinton and the late John and Blanche Springs.
The bride attended Northeast Lauderdale High School and is a graduate of Mississippi State University, where she received a bachelor's degree in business administration.
She is currently employed in the business office of Morale, Welfare and Recreation at Naval Air Station Meridian.
The bridegroom attended Rock Hill High School in South Carolina. After taking classes at York Technical College in Rock Hill, he enrolled in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He is currently pursuing an associates of arts degree in business administration at Meridian Community College. Gunnery Sgt. Hinton is serving as course supervisor for the "Marine AK" School at NAS Meridian.
After a honeymoon at Hilton Head Island, S.C., the couple resides at NAS Meridian.
