Motorists are reminded by the Mississippi Division of Public Safety Planning that Friday, Dec. 15, is "Lights on for Life Day." Motorists are asked to drive with their headlights on to show support for efforts to curb drunk driving and to remember those killed by drunk drivers.
Jameson Inn hotels across the Southeast have set up a program to help families who have a member hospitalized during the holidays.
From Dec. 11-Jan. 8, each Jameson Inn will "make room at the Inn" for families who need lodging to be near a hospitalized relative. This year's announcement means that for the second year in a row, Jameson Inn will provide either one or two free rooms a night for use by hospitals participating in the program.
For reservations or a copy of the Jameson Inn directory, call 1-800-Jameson or visit www.jamesoninns.com.
