OBITUARIES FOR WEDNESDAY, DEC. 6, 2000

LESTER O'NEAL TRUELOVE
Retired
YORK, Ala. Services for Lester O'Neal Truelove will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at York Baptist Church, with the Rev. Grant McClain officiating. Burial will be in Sumter Memorial Gardens, with Bumpers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Truelove, 75, of York, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Julia G. Truelove of York; a daughter, Judy T. Griffin of Hoover; a sister, Lois Bragg of Cuba; and two grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to York Baptist Church.
Visitation will be today from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home in York.
ANDY DRAKE DIAMOND
BUTLER, Ala. Services for Andy Drake Diamond will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Ken Gibson and Jerry Turner officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.
Andy, 17-months-old, of Butler, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2000, in his home.
Survivors include his mother, Marshia "Toney" Diamond, his father, Claude Webster Diamond, and a brother, Claude Hunter Diamond; six sisters, Nicole Biggs of Grove Hill, Amy Combs, Linda Diamond, Donnie Gayle Diamond, Kristie Diamond and Lindsey Barnes, all of Butler; paternal grandparent, Floyd Diamond of Butler; maternal grandparent, Elizabeth Newton of Butler; God grandparents, Talmadge and Louise Mazingo of Butler; three special nieces and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparent, Donnie Diamond, and his maternal grandparent, Grady Newton.
Visitation will be today from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
JEWEL FAYE TOUCHSTONE FLEBOTTE
LEEDS, Ala. Services for Jewel Faye Touchstone Flebotte will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Flebotte, 75, of Trussville, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2000, in her home.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard N. Flebotte; two sons, Leonard A. "Lenny" Flebotte and his wife, Sherry, of Moody, and Harold V. Flebotte of Trussville; her mother, Emma Jewel Touchstone, a sister, Kay Long and a brother, A.D. Touchstone, all of Meridian; two grandchildren, Jason and Jordan Flebotte of Leeds; two nieces, Donna Quick and Cheryl Feltman of Meridian; and several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Judge Arthur Touchstone; a brother, Arthur Touchstone Jr.; a son, Terry Flebotte; and a sister, Marian Dodge.
Visitation will be today from 4:30 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
EDGAR L. CHESTER

Services for Edgar L. Chester will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Newell Chapel Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Daleville Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Chester, 69, of Meridian, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2000, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
Survivors include a sister, Wilma Yvonne Brumfield of Meridian; three brothers, Peter Chester of Southfield, Mich., and Roderick Chester and Samuel Abu Mohammed, both of Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
SOLOMON MARSHALL
Retired
Services for Solomon Marshall will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Rose Baptist Church in Quitman, with the Rev. Washington McKenzie officiating. Burial will be in East Cemetery in Enterprise, with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Marshall, 51, of Quitman, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Nora D. Marshall, a daughter, Sharon Denise Stokes and his mother, Clara Smith, all of Quitman; a son, Darnell Davis of Meridian; six sisters, Clara Donald, Bernice Marshall and Willie Mae Marshall, all of Quitman, Katie Ford of Enterprise, Emma Mae Marshall of Pensacola, Fla., and Georgia Crowe of Stonewall; six brothers, the Rev. William Marshall of New Orleans, Willie Marshall Jr. of Greenwood, Alton Marshall of Starkville, Glenn Marshall of Alexandria, La., James A. Marshall of Florida and Charles Chapman of Enterprise; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home in Quitman.

Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for James Thomas, 69, of Lauderdale, who died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000, in his home.
